Bean was sired by Am. CH. Renefield
Sport Coat ex Cdn. Am. CH.
Stonecroft's Simply Smitten and he
too was a character, hence his name.
He possessed the outgoing,
happy-go-lucky attitude that both
his mother and uncle (Arnold) did.
He finished his Canadian
Championship quickly by obtaining
his title by going Best of Winners
and Best Canadian-Bred at the
PWCA(c) Ont./Que. Specialty in May
1997.
Mr. Bean placed well at the three
U.S. Specialties he attended in
1997.
We were pleased with Mr. Bean's wins
at the 1998 PWCCA National Specialty
in Dayton Ohio. He was Winners Dog
and Best Of Winners under renowned
English Judge Mary Winsome of
Cordach Kennels.

What an honor to win such a
prestigious event. For the first
time, a rosette was awarded to the
Breeder of Best of Breed.
Also, in May 2000, Mr. Bean won Best
of Breed at the Pembroke Welsh Corgi
Association (Canada) Ontario/Quebec
Specialty under English Breeder
Judge - Mrs. Joan Logsdon of
Blaizewood Corgis.
Mr. Bean has proven himself greatly
as a sire. He has now attained his
American ROMX and has produced many
Specialty Best of Breed winning and
major placing offspring. His winning
children are in Canada, United
States, England and Australia.
Even though he was lost to us far
too soon, he still lives on through
his children and grandchildren. We
can see him and his personality in
each and everyone of them and we are
sooooo proud!
